Founded in 2016, JusSkillz Productions Inc. is a Christian-based, 501c3, nonprofit organization co-founded by Graylin Jasper and Justin Rivers. Both Grayln and Justin live in the community we serve and are well aware of the incredible number of at risk youth living in poverty that end up dropping out of school, engaging in criminal activity and basically ruining their own lives and the lives of others. Both Graylin and Justin have years of experience working with low-income students in various music programs throughout the Tri-County area here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina and are committed to helping these at risk youth change the course of their lives so that they become successful, productive members of our society.
JusSkillz Productions Inc.'s mission is to empower at-risk youth to become self-sufficient, productive members of our society through the power of MUSIC.
Note: Studies show that music intervention engages youth in ways other programs do not. In addition, the act of learning music requires discipline which leads to increased self-control. Studies have shown that music intervention engages student in ways that other programs don't.

Students involved in the Arts programs and their attendant schools has been proven to have develop leadership skills and the drive to become successful the, self-sufficient members of our society, but the Arts in South Carolina schools have been struggling severely due to budget cuts. In 2020 South Carolina ranks 41st with the largest number of at-risk used in the nation, dropping two spots from 2019 when the State ranked 39th in the nation, and according to the 2018 statistics released by KIDS COUNT Charleston County is ranked 13th out of the 46 counties in South Carolina with the largest number of at-risk youth. Studies show that music intervention engages youth in ways other programs do not. In addition, the act of learning music requires discipline which leads to increased self control. JusSkillz Production Incorporated mission is to empower at-risk youth to become self-sufficient productive members of our society through the power of music.
Our Indoor Activities marries music performance, marching, and theater. These activities will give at risk youth the opportunity to be apart of a competitive performing activity to build camaraderie and working towards a goal.
The youth involved in this program will learn to work with others to achieve a particular goal, and how to implement this in their everyday life making them productive members of their society.
All activities will involve learning the correct playing techniques for Corps and Show Style marching bands and concert band, developing a broader understanding of Music Theory, the correct marching techniques for Crops or Show Style marching styles and Color Guard and Dance Team, as well as competitions and performances.
